System is automated so it can't detect nuances between int'ing and being bad/having a bad game.

You'd have to bring back something like the Tribunal and be able to post the replays of the games in question to the Tribunal case for people to review and determine whether or not the person is intentionally feeding.

It's not out of the realm of possibility, though.

I've seen some chat records with no racial slurs and minor toxicity if you can even call it that. The problem is the community and Riot as a whole. A retched liberal cesspool with no backbone or competitive insight on how to handle a league when league is in their name is a damn shame. Liberals are passive aggressive and that is what you need to do to spread your baby angst in this game without being banned so it makes so much sense. More effort is spent babysitting the games hurt fweelings than actually providing a competitive environment. That would take actual work, dedication, and balls. Sad part is most people are toxic because of this terrible companies ability to provide that environment. Most people are ok with standards and separate leagues based on skill. It's the fact that Riot cannot provide a useful one that people don't feel cheated in.

Honestly, I blame the community for this problem, though Riot is far from helpful.

How the system works is that the bot that checks out the report pretty much does whatever Microsoft Word does when you use the "find" command, using certain buzzwords. Should any be found, chat restriction. This means you really have to watch what you say, because any foul language can haunt you, even if it isn't even offensive in the scenario you use it in (you could theoretically get in trouble for telling someone that they're kicking ass). The bots have trouble when it comes to gameplay offenses. Leavebuster does alright when people actually leave, but when it comes to griefers, the system is so easy to defeat. If you int, there are two ways in which you can be caught. The first way is to make your game stats so blatantly obvious that you're inting that a caveman could figure it out (oh shit, I'm sorry, please don't beat me with that club). I mean you need to go like 0/46/0, have no more than like 200 damage dealt, and so on. The other way is to just flat out say that you're going to int. As long as a player makes sure to get a kill and keep their mouth shut, they will get away with it easily. As for sitting in spawn (which is a celebrated idea for some stupid reason), these people die two times and decide that the game is not fun, so they decide to ruin everyone else's fun by sitting in spawn to speed up a loss. The bot is defeated since right clicking once every two minutes keeps leavebuster away.

Now the people who answer support tickets will not disclose their procedures or methods to detect and punish these players because they think us knowing will allow us to figure out how to defeat their systems. I have two things to say to that.

  1. It's clearly been done.
  2. You are defending this secret system, but fail to realize that the secret is performing so poorly that it's not worth protecting in the first place.

The kicker? None of this matters.

The playerbase as a whole has become such a mess that none of us can blame riot anymore. I mean bots or not, there are just so many players that flame and grief that no company could possibly have the resources to properly handle these cases. The event horizon has been passed. There is no return. The community will be trapped in this state for the rest of League's existence.
