i feel like the only problem with support is not getting any credit for doing it.

what i care about is being used as a scapegoat for someone's poor play what i care about is not being acknowledged for doing good on the team or doing as good as my teammates.

that link is my match history link im going to talk about things people said in this match

"nami, you need to stop feeding."

I died twice, once because i didn't understand malzahar cheese, the second time i went to ward and got cheesed again. After those two deaths the next deaths went as followed.

lux, dying the same time on my second death, this brings her to 0-1

she died again making her 1-2 because she killed cass

she died again to cass shes now 1-3

she then comes bot dies to malzahar or jhin and is now 2-4 but she got a kill

we are now at the 15 minute mark where lux dies to malzahar again while im still two deaths into this game where everyone is accusing me of feeding.

i point out that lux has been dying more than me and that my deaths are even with the rest of the team. somehow that equated to me being toxic and told to shut the fuck up and reported (typical behavior of people who use the word toxic)

"nami you aren't helping"

this ivern didn't become apart of the match until 11 minutes in and ends the game with only one more kill than me, the same amount of deaths AND assists.

"nami you're fucking toxic you didn't do anything all game you were useless"

once again same assists as our jungler same assists as our top and only one more death and one less kill than sion.

supports get no respect in this game and that is the only reason i hate playing the role.

Also, the grading system doesn't help when your score is 0/3/35 with 50k healing done and then the game ends and you see A-.

its super frustrating and a slap to your ability and knowledge of the game

its like being given a test getting everything right, but getting 30% taken off because you forgot to write the date.

i agree, my heim adc and 2/8 teemo kept praising leblanc and khazix for carrying but not the alistar who provided the vision for picks, kept knocking up 4 enemies at once during teamfights, knocked ww away when he ulted someone, or who shielded his teams and tanked most teamfights

tbh, i carried as hard if not harder than lb and khaz but there's no recognition because i'm just the support, which sucks because i got them fairly fed early and saved them from ww a few times

everyone looks at dmg dealt to champs and thinks they carried, great job giving the enemy team the horn bro.

died once in lane as naut because my adc watched me go in after i pinged but didnt help and then asked me to not come back to his lane again

That and the fact they are expected to perform miracles without any help essentially.

Had a game as MF with a Janna support and Sion top. After we started grouping, the enemy Vi jungle, Camille Top, and Leona would straight up dive me every teamfight, leaving our Hecarim jungle and Zed mid to deal with the enemy Cait and Lux. My Janna and Sion spent their time trying to peel for me, which generally resulted in us killing one of the divers but me eventually dying cause it's hard to peel that many people at once when all of them have a ton of CC. In the mean time, both Zed and Hecarim somehow die to the enemy backline even though no one is peeling for them. Both Sion and Janna kept apologizing cause they couldn't keep me alive, when in all honesty, they did everything they could. If our Zed and Hecarim ever got a kill on the backline, everything would've been fine cause it'd be a 4v3, but since that never happened, we never were able to do anything after they used so many abilities to kill me.

Another game I had a Thresh support who was trying to peel off an Amumu jungle, Rammus top, and Leona support who literally blew every ult trying to kill me. My jungle Hecarim kept flaming me cause I would die in almost every teamfight and saying that I need to just dodge skillshots, but when the Amumu Q's to Thresh/Syndra/Jayce, ults that barely hits me, Leona flash ults only me, then follows up with her EQ, and then Rammus rolls in, hits me, and taunts, I'm pretty much dead from CC alone regardless of the MF or Ahri trying to do damage. One late game fight the Amumu Q'd in, ulted, leona ulted me, and Thresh literally used Locket, Lantern, Face of the Mountain, and Redemption and I survived finally. Off that we were able to I believe ace them and push for the win, but that was all Thresh. All the jungler could say after that game was "I almost outdamaged the ADC." Really dude? Really? Nothing about that last fight? Nothing about the fact I managed to surviving finally after how many team fights I died in. The 5/8/23 60% kill participation Hecarim almost outdamaged the 7/11/17 51% kill participation Caitlyn is the shocking news here. If every single ounce of CC is used on me, I would hope you could actually do damage to the undefended backline since this Thresh is working his ass off trying to keep me alive for as long as possible. This jungler was so fricken ungrateful he couldn't see what an amazing support we had.
