Am I Crazy, Or Is ARAM Not Random?

I swear I see these champs on a rotation: As in... It seems like they disproportionately get rolled in ARAM. It feels as if the "randomness" is actually weighted, with some champions being given higher probabilities than others.

For instance, I almost never see: Despite playing nonstop ARAM, when realistically, I should see them at a very similar frequency to other champions.

Essentially, I'd prefer there not be a every game...

It is random but people have accounts dedicated to ARAM only, they buy the best champions for ARAM only then get RNG'd through them

You won't see more variance in the champs played until they unlock all champs or add ban back, and both hurt aram only accounts so good luck.

Also remember, if they get a champ they don't like they roll and it sits there on a bench so teams of poke heavy/ADCs will come up more often. Hardly random really. Why get stuck with Xin if there is a ranged on the bench even if you are not even good at them?

I got Sion 3 games in a row in Aram. Hardly random at all when I own every champion.

There is 100% champion weighting, they should honestly just unlock all champs in it to remove the appeal of aram only accounts and just make reroll acquisition based on number of champs owned like it still is, to keep the encouragement to own more champs. As it stands, owning all the champions is a huge negative compared to people that only own the best in the mode (plus two free rotations blah blah blah)

Rito says sorry for the inconvenience, but the aram engine had to be placed into TFT. Aram now uses a cycling mechanism of specified champions instead.

It is random, but given the amount of rerolling possible youll see certain champs more often.

It sucks playing someone like udyr, even if you win, so youll see him get rerolled a lot.

Lux will be taken, even if you nerf her to the ground.

You aren't crazy and NO ITS NOT ARAM ONLY accounts... SHEESH... Most random number generators use your clocks real time clock as the seed for the randomization, there for certain weeks/days etc... you will have a slightly higher chance to see certain champions... There's been days where I played against the exact same champion 4 out of 6 games and it wasn't even a S tier champion... It's literally just a limitation of the randomization function coupled with sometimes people will reroll/dodge if they have unfavorable champs... On a side note, I love getting skarner in aram, its hilarious and I have a decent win rate with him too...

You're bound to see good aram champs more often than not because people always reroll if they get a bad one or a less exciting champ, like a tank. So yes odds are skewed but they're skewed by players and not by riot.

Fun Fact, there is an ARAM free rotation that swaps ever few months. The more you know :) o ye ARAM is for random champions you own or is part of the free rotate
