Any kind of game is ok, not really a fan of shooter games. I would also be ready to pay like 20 bucks or so. Kinda fed up with this shithole game, i've gotten really toxic over this week and now im looking for a long term game atm. Appreciate all recommendations.

EDIT: thanks y'all cool dudes'n girls :)

Try Warframe which is free to play (pay for convenience) and if you have questions ask around. And you will have questions because it has a large burden of knowledge at least when starting.

Just make sure to spend the 50 starting plat (plat is the equivalent of to league's RP) on 1 Warframe slot and 2 sets of 2 weapons slots, understand all weapons and frames can be obtained by playing, you can trade plat meaning you can farm rare items to trade other people for it, and that it is a loot grinder that has kept many people playing for 2500+ hours like myself.

Terraforming Mars. Both the board game and the online version available on Steam.

I'm addicted. Incredible strategy game.

Try Duck Game!! It is a 2d shooter games (don't worry, no aiming, and melee weapons are almost just as good as guns) with max capacity of 4 players. There are thousands of maps on steam workshop that you can download for free.

I know it sounds dumb, I thought so too when I friends introduced it to me, but damn it is it fun! It is best when you can play with people you know (since almost no one plays it online anymore...) It is 25 bucks or so on steam, but during holidays it get really cheap since it's a party game.

It is never toxic and always fun since it kinda is dumb, and getting mad because you are losing is just stupid...

Oh and btw it was one of the games that were supposed to be available on switch as soon as switch came out, but of course Nintendo isn't keeping their promises...

if the aesthetic appeals to you, dark souls is pretty good as long as you can withstand the difficulty at first.

i'd recommend furi to anyone with a pulse.

and lethal league blaze is the only immediate shorthand game i can think of with similar competitive depth that isn't a MOBA.

Guild Wars 2

No better MMO on the market.

Like some others have said, RD2 is a solid option, however the online part is a bit shitty atm so don't expect much as it is in beta.

I always enjoyed Civilization 6.

If you're willing to put in the bit of work to access it, Phantasy Star Online 2 is a good game to get into. It'll be entering Episode 6 some time next year.

If you are interesting in card games, then Gwent is pretty fun. F2P and you can unlock all of the cards without paying anything. They start you off with enough stuff to make a pretty decent deck. It'll take a fair amount of grinding to make other decks that you want, but it definitely isn't bad like grinds for other games.

You unlock cards through kegs (basically loot boxes) or from currency. You can mill extra cards that you can't use to get more currency which means Kegs are never truly wasted.

Yugioh is also pretty fun with online simulators (aren't official simulators by the company that owns it) that are free to use with every card available for free so you pay nothing at all.

If you have a Switch, then Smash is an obvious choice and I've heard the Bayonetta games are fun as hell too.

Try Hearthstone. Only problem with it is that unlike League where you can be competitive from the get go, since even the cheapest champions can be viable at the highest levels of play, in Heathstone, unless you're willing pay up, you're gonna have to grind real hard to get the types of powerful cards to build competitive or meta decks. The grinding is the biggest weakness of Hearthstone. You don't know what grind is until you play that game.

But in terms of balance and strategic dept, Hearthstone is quite enjoyable. The biggest plus, is that you win or lose based on your own skill. No losing because you got some dumbshit feeder in bot lane. It is a 1v1 game after all.

personally really into Moonlighter and Graveyard keeper RN. Both on sale on steam too for the moment.

Darkest Dungeon is really good, and lasts a long time. Even more so with DLC's.

Edit: And Magic: The Gathering Arena on PC. It's freaking amazing how well it presents paper MTG
