Except when you forget to check your minimap and end up overextending your lane into a jungle gank, which could have been avoided if you had known your support was pinging you to get away from the enemy.

Sure, you could mute everyone so pings and text won’t reach you but you then have no right to complain about your team when you decided to ignore their input at the start.
