Key frags are so hard to come by and makes the loot system more challenging. I acquire chests way more often than key frags. This becomes a hassle, but not only this, but that there has been a rise in getting champ shards rather than skins nowadays while when you level up, you already get champ shards.
Alas, i own all champions and i get only champ capsules currently. Oh well, just means more for me to use for mastery 7 level ups lol
I had 4 chests and no keys. Got some key fragments after a long time. Opened two chests. Got 2 champion shard which I already own. Disenchanted. :( I was really hoping to get a nice skin shard! [sg-soraka]
I mean.... The loot system isn't meant to be easy, it's just a free way to earn the occasional skin by good play and behavior. Riot would lose out on money if they made the system super easy.
TBH you should probably be holding on to chests right now anyways. They most likely fucked up the drop rate tuning when they added emotes to the loot table since people seem to be getting emotes and champion shards often.
