PSA: Here's how you convince Riot to release more Classic URF going forward

Step 1; Don't limit yourself to a small champion pool. This is the number one reason that Riot changed URF to the "all random" pick type after it's debut, because just about the whole community basically refused to play anything other than the "most overpowered champions in the mode". If you want Riot to consider classic URF as a viable option over ARURF, you need to get with the program and get involved with champion diversity. If not, Riot will force that champion diversity on you.

Step 2, and this is the most important part; DON'T STOP PLAYING LOL THE MOMENT URF IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE! This is the biggest thing that Riot has said, and continued to say, about URF as a mode (both Classic and ARURF), and so long as players continue to play LoL only when URF is available, Riot will continue to hold this over the community as a reason that classic URF doesn't work. Your "protest" has only served as a reason for Riot NOT to give us more URF (and classic URF in particular) for over 5 years. If you want Riot to even consider classic URF in the future, you need to get with the program and prove that URF isn't the only reason you're playing, even if it's not true.

Seriously, if you're making yourself part of the problem, you don't get to complain.

no one will listen, the day urf comes to an end you'll get the threads coming out of people saying they're quitting now that urf is gone. so then rito will have been proven right again and there will be no other urf and we have to tolerate these fools on the boards asking why rito don't bring it back. I already have some hand selected flame for the day.

I got an idea!

leave the game mode out and let people choose what they want to play.

people don't leave just because they're burnt out or hate op picks, they leave because urf is gone. and playing any other game mode tends to suck after urf.

maybe make normal/aram more fun. if you hate the game because of the same op picks then you're prbly the person who'd also play norms/rank. dont see how you'd quit league because "urf" a game mode not the OG game ruined your fun.

but why should i not be aloud to play my fav champ over and over. why do they have to be so salty cause people play select champs that they enjoy and find fun. i don't see them taking away SR every time people play the same champs over and over it's just so stupid if you ask me

I wish they brought back 6v6 twisted treeline. I forget what it was called but that was still by far, my favorite mode. Been waiting for years.

Have played 3 games so far. Seen 4 Veigars, 4 Yi's, and 2 Lux's

the champ pool may be even smaller time around and A few people might quit before it even ends if the urf elder dragon is still in the mode,it was making the mode complete shit(at least for me) in the pbe.

URF elder dragon was making many of the games end up just being 10 min lanning phase then a stomp or ff. none of the games ever got close to 30 min,making the games decided early(10 min) form a single objective.

in the pbe each dragon gave a 20% damage swing, plus true damage, plus all the other stats. it was basicly a free auto win to the team that got it.the dragon wasted the champ picking/ban they added back. as you needed to pick strong laners so you have a chance to fight for that urf dragon, when it came up. the champ pick pool was rather small due to this.
