Hextech Loot Season 8 Bullshit

So, for a huge portion of Season 7, I didn't earn any Hextech Boxes. My champion pool isn't very big, and so i only play a handful of champions. I earned S on all of the champs I play, so I only earned 1 box per champ, couldn't earn anymore. Now that Season 8 has started, I can start earning boxes on the champs I play again. However, I just earned a chest on Udyr, couldn't wait to open it, and I get a fucking poro emote, that's it. This was not a problem in early-mid Season 7 and before. I don't even use the default emotes that Riot gives us. I think they are annoying, childish, immature and pointless. For me to wait months for Season 8 to start to earn more boxes, and then to open it up and only get a fucking emote pisses me off. I hate the emotes, don't put them in fucking Hextech, and if you really have to, at least give me something else with the emote. Goddamn Riot I love you but wtf this is actually bullshit. Just remove the fucking emotes from the game or give me an option to literally block them permanently from my life.
