Can't purchase items

This bug has happened to me twice now in the past couple of days. I can purchase items at the beginning of the game, no problem. But as the game progresses, i'll have plenty of empty item slots and enough gold to purchase the item, I even ping it (Zhonyas: Can purchase) However it won't let me purchase any items at all. Even with 2k gold in my pocket, and 3 empty item slots, it wont even let me buy a potion. Gamebreaking bug that needs, fixing. Not sure what causes it but it needs to be fixed.

yes it happened to me as well and it costs me the damn match. i have enough gold and when i buy components of the item the price doesn't drop and even when i have more than enough money i can't buy it. it happened to me 3 times now mostly with support items. what the hell riot fix your game...

Been having issues purchasing Zhonyas as well, even though all the requirements are there. Really debilitating for me as a Morg Support.

same problem for me but with sunfire cape.
