My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We've been making jokes to keep ourselves happy, and she's doing much better after a couple of months of chemotherapy. I hope Alex can get through the tough times ahead.

I wonder if his doctor described what it the diagnosis was and asked Trebek to answer in the form of a question.

That's tough. Prayers up man he's one of the best show hosts to ever be in the industry got no doubt he's going to keep fighting and if anyone can beat it he can.

That strikes a chord man. I've watched Jeopardy since I could remember TV... Pray for him, regardless of your spirituality. He's a good man.

Just heard this on the radio this morning. I also heard he has like a contract or something to where he has to keep doing Jeopardy for 3 more years. Yikes

Is... is that a joke related to his cancer or...?

Sorry I really don't want to be mean but I genuinly want to know if you did it intentionally.

So many stage 4 cancer.

First it was Totalbiscuit, and now this guy.

When will you quit, cancer? Give it a break geez.

Though I don't know him well but my sincere prayer for this guy. I hope him all the very best.

Survival rate isn't 0%, and as someone that's gone through that kind of shit, having a positive outlook is half the battle. Hope for the best.

Resolution3/7/2019, 6:36:19 AM1 votes

Eh... stage four is like 1-5% survival. I want to be hopeful, but thats sad :(

Times sure are a changing, but i'm right there with you.

Best of luck to Alex

Well, it IS sad but, honestly, the guy is REALLY old by now, and this is kinda how old people die. At his age these kinda problems start appearing and piling up. I'm honestly kinda impressed that he has been able to stay on as a host of the show at his age.

General Elephant3/7/2019, 11:28:07 AM1 votes

Didnt he also have that crazy brain surgery a while back?
