Way back when SG Ezreal was leaked I made the point that he was going to be the Tuxedo Mask to Lux's Sailor Moon, and that there would obviously be something going on between them. Naturally GD reacted with the usual screeching, I'm guessing because the "Ez is gay" meme has gone so far out of control that people think it's canon and forget that Ez and Lux actually were canon for years.
It kind of puts into perspective why Riot seems so terrified of pairing these two outright.
Even if SG lux does go for Ezreal, which I really hope she doesn't, Riot has confirmed that this Lux is separate from Canon Lux. This is a different person with the same name and similar powers, so it's not representing canon.
I guess by your logic that means Varus and Syndra are a couple, Graves and Twisted Fate are gay, Karthus and Ryze also gay, volibear is gay for troll men and Quinn is dating Darius. All because they share an outfit with one another.
