I Want To Play Ranked But...

I’m just too scared of other players. It feels like if I’m not always optimizing my gameplay, Ill always get flamed. I haven’t won a game yet but I want to change that. But in every game I’ve played, I’m always claimed as the person who loses the game for everyone. I know I can /mute all but the feeling of dread will always be in my head. I dont want to drag anyone down. Should I stay clear of ranked until I can consider myself good with confidence? Or should I just mute everyone and play ranked regardless if I lose?

No. Keep playing normals until you understand, at the bare minimum, the basics of the game. Like runes, item builds, map awareness, last hitting, wave control.

BTW item 3152 Protobelt rush is superior to item 3100 Lichbane rush on FIzz. item 3020 Sorc shoes is way higher value on him than defensive boots. He doesn't even really need Lichbane most games. And Electrocute is his standard keystone, but I could see Conqueror working.

save yourself a mountain of trouble and an avalanche of hate by just not doing ranked period. players will find any excuse they can think of to flame you and if their lp/mmr is in jeopardy they'll report anyone and everyone. ranked players hate to lose and they're competitive attitude is tenacious. trust me, the amount of effort to put into ranked ain't worth the rewards you get out of it.

Just mute everyone. Don't take ranked too seriously. Focus on having fun and don't listen what people say. We all have bad games.
