You can't win lane every time!

I'm so sick of people feeding in mid lane or top because they are just convinced that they can win every matchup. Sometimes you're up against a bad champ counter or another player who is just better than you. It doesn't mean you should surrender or afk or int. It just means that you have to use strategy to win the game. Play passive, farm when you can, and roam. Wait for the team fights. Isolate champs that you can kill. Use your utility, if you have it. Split push! There are so many ways to help your team that don't involve you dying 10 times because you can't handle losing your lane.

Playing passive hasn't worked since at least Season 6.

I know this because that used to be how I played the game, and it stopped working well as soon as keystones were introduced to masteries.

You put the game at a hard 50/50 if you aren't actively trying to win or get fed because you're then at the mercy of your team to get fed.

Early leads are almost 100% necessary to succeed anymore.
