I don't see him in pro play but he stomps my low level games. What gives?

In higher levels, people can just play around him like he doesn't exist. He's melee, and his skills are melee. He usually cant catch anyone in League of Mobility.

In lower elos, everyone stands in his beyblade til they explode.

cause pro players know how to play against him low level gamers dont.

Yes.

He's a pubstomper. Ass in proplay, dominates in low tier.

Garen is currently a very strong solo q monster

Garen is fundamentally broken. He's a champion with very little skill expression that manages to be +50% WR all the way from Bronze to Grandmasters. Don't take players who say he's only a pubstumper at face value. He's a champion that becomes VERY easy to abuse once you learn to abuse him when he attempts to Q, but abusing a Garen isn't enough to beat a Garen. He's at the point where he's so statty that he tolerates abuse better than any other champion.

Many strong champions aren't picked much in pro-play such as Nunu, Ekko, Fizz, Ashe, and so on. It's not because they're weak, but because coordinated environments make these champions more vulnerable and harder to capitalize on their strong points. How does Fizz get an edge over his opponents if the enemy bot lane actually listens to their Mid's warnings? How does Ashe DPS without the self-peel of a Kai'sa or Xayah? Similarly, how does Garen use his stats if he can never reach his enemies? The moment Yuumi offered him the ability to reach his enemies, he became a menace to pro-play. Garen is good, but strong opponents take away his agency.
