Honestly the only nerf I see is E cooldown.

I can't wait to have Janna doing damage on autos now as well as being an unkillable piece of shit.

Except they didn't nerf what made her strong, which is stat dump on a ADC, yet that is (but I'm going to remain skeptical on that possible 'yet' until they actually do it)

Her shield still gives the ad it usually does and there aren't any changes to Ardent Censer ether

All they did was nerf her w that wasn't the problem, put some power shift buffs in Q too which she didn't need, messed around with her base stats which also weren't a problem (which might given that auto range buff possibly) and for all weird reasons change her passive to pretty much make her a kinda AP version of Hecarim with her auto attacks at the cost of some of it's movement speed

All in all, they just showed they have no idea what they're doing again like usual if anything

edit: The Janna mains didn't like what I said apparently, doesn't make it any less right though

The health lowing is muy bien.

They only lowered her AD because they're giving her a magic damage version of Hecarim's passive

To be fair they weren't about to give her a rework just before worlds. None of the pros would have a chance to learn about her properly. Idk just seems like you're picking holes but that's just my opinion [sg-lulu]

If we had AD nerfs on Velkoz, you guys wouldn't be calling it a nerf.

Not Janna specifically, but the item itself. I like the changes they just made for it (arden) on the PBE. It will now be bought for hyper-carries without giving adcs sustain (if they don't invest in lifesteal).

Which is what they should have touched, if anything, on it. Janna has been out longer than it's existence though, so don't expect a dramatic win rate decrease. Unless people decide to troll with Janna now.

Its mostly a nerf but in some ways it looks a lil like a rework

They're removing some ad to give her missile speed and better autos, they're increasing her passive scaling and reducing her movespeed... like shes going to be easier to kill early game for sure but when her E is still a massive stat stick and you max it first I can imagine her still being good

Definitely won't be top tier support tho, the reason she's busted right now is that she shields so much that you basically can't hurt her lane partner. She won't be capable of doing that with the cd nerfs.

Base AD lowered from 51.956 to 49 HP per level lowered from 78 to 70 Base HP increased from 487.04 to 500 Attack range increased from 475 to 550 Base movespeed lowered from 335 to 320 AD per level lowered from 2.95 to 2 Basic attack missile speed increased from 1200 to 1600

Seems to be a general buff, I mean, sure, she's losing AD, But at the same time, Her new passive..

Tailwind (Passive) Movement speed lowered from 8% to 5% "Janna always benefits from Tailwind's speed increase." [New Effect] Additionally, Janna's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage equal to 35% of her bonus Movement Speed. [Note: changelist states this should be 30%, but leaving it 35% as reflected in game.]

Nerf to MS, But a general buff as she now does bonus magic damage per AA. Not much, But it's still there, and will probably be noticable.

Howling Gale (Q) mana cost lowered from 90/105/120/135/150 to 60/80/100/120/140 cooldown changed from 14/13/12/11/10 to 12 at all ranks base range increased from 850 to 1000 bonus range per second charged lowered from 35% to 25% [New Effect] "Howling Gale always reaches it's destination in 1.5 seconds."

This seems like an over all buff, However, The biggest "Nerf" To this is the last part, Where it'll always reach its destination in 1.5 seconds, Now, This is a bit confusing, But lets get this straight, The longer you charge it, you can get upto a 1750 unit SS, That travels that much in 1.5 seconds, Meaning it has a default missile speed of 1166.66667 U/S.. A hair slower than her current AA travel rate.

Range lowered from 600 to 550 Repertoir noted this is "from 600 (center to center) to 550 (edge to edge)" Cooldown increased from 12 at all ranks to 15.5/14/12.5/11/9.5 Bonus movement speed lowered from 9/11/13/15/17% to 5/8/11/14/17%

This is a bit confusing as we see a HD Change, However, It seems more like an early game nerf into a late-game buff.

Eye of the Storm (E) Cooldoown changed from 10 at all ranks to 18/16/14/12/10

Step in the right direction.. But really, Probably not all that bad.
