Why does Lux get unlimited, low mana cost abilities with zero down side?

You can now pick Lux, slap on your elementalist skin, pick barrier, and sit there using Q & E ON COOLDOWN and not have to go back to base for 5 minutes. Not to mention she has zero periods of weakness and truely exhibits everything wrong with this game. Throw q's nonstop on cooldown, and no matter how HORRIBLE you might be at this game--- if you land one, and you will, you get rewarded with a kill while taking ZERO RISK. Besides Anivia, I can't think of more pussy champ to play.

Lux is extremely mana starved when harassing. Looks more like a git gud issue. You lost lane as Akali to Lux

She use to be extremely mana hungry.

Everyone use to be extremely mana hungry back in season 2.

Then they lowered Mana costs for a lot of abilities and added athene's and it never seemed to go back after that.

Nice shitpost, her waveclear is garbage, her Q is way too easy to dodge, and gets slaughtered by every meta mid laner rn because they either out roam her or have way more reliable and higher damage. There's a very good reason there has NEVER been a single challenger with Lux as their most played, because she has way too much counterplay and most champs outshine her at what she does best.
