New Skins for VGU Champs

With the PBE preview of Dragon Master Swain I think it becomes apparent that a new skin can be in production at the same time that a champ’s VGU is. The concept probably has to fit their new or revamped thematic and there are probably other requirements for this to occur, but can we please make this a regular thing? One of the more prevelant reasons behind certain champions not receiving a new skin in a while is because they are on a long list of champs awaiting a VGU. That being said, it only seems fair to give them a new skin alongside their VGU, or shortly after (next patch) like Swain.

I understand everyone has been waiting for Dragon Master Swain for YEARS, but I really hope Riot makes an effort to make this a regular occurrence.

I doubt it. The only reason they are making Dragon Master Swain following his VGU is because people have been asking for it since at least Season 3. It is basically a super iconic skin at this point so this is the perfect time for them to just get it over with and make it for him. Irelia, Aatrox, and Akali don't really have any skins that the community has been strongly asking for so they probably won't be getting a skin with their VGU.

I've been asking for Heartseeker Akali since Season 3, but I'll never get it and that's okay I guess :3
