I think we all agree they were a... greedy idea to say the least, but I don't remember hearing anything about them in a long time, after that promise to make some of them available for BE (still didn't go over well, obviously).
What happened? Just swept under the rug or?
Boards doesn't really get any attention from riot, its not that it was swept under the rug, but its the fact that riot never even bothered to look in the first place.
They have other work to do on them. I'm sure we'll hear more in the new year since they had a lot of stuff to do at the end of this year. They still appear on the PBE so they are still happening.
