Never really understood why people get boosted/duo boosted

You cant really coach people because you are bad, the border is pointless because as said before you are still bad, nobody cares if you are low diamond especially if you are boosted as well, You wont get onto a team and if so it wouldnt be for long at all when they see you play, sooo whats the point? lmao.

Ive just been running into players that have been plat every season getting boosted in PRE SEASON LOL by account sharing smurfs/boosters. There is 0 point if you didnt actually make it anywhere yourself. Its just forever a meaningless lie.
