What's the earliest DC time for a remake?

Had this game I linked. Illaoi DC'd right after she died at about 1:30-2:00. But we couldn't remake? Seems a bit odd. Then we had Jhin DC after his third death, followed by Kayn DCing a bit later. Meanwhile, Talon and I had to sit there and play it out and just... accept the loss. We lost the same amount of LP as a normal loss even though we had absolutely no chance of winning. Doesn't seem fair, you guys ever have an experience like this?
