The Quality of Skins Recently

I want to congratulate Riot's art department. The splash art for skins recently has been absolutely gorgeous. From Ashen Lord AurelionSol to Arclight Vayne , the art is just so amazing it makes loading screens more fun, looking at all the small details and admiring just how beautiful some skins are. My personal favourites are ElderWood Hecarim , Gravelord Azir , and the previously mentioned Ashen Lord AurelionSol . What are your guys favourites?

This is actually such a good idea. Vel'Koz could have some seriously gorgeous particles with that theme.

I agree except that I don't like DJ Sona, I just dislike the music and aesthetic. I much prefer Sweetheart or the Christmas one.

Guqin Sona is best Sona splash art in my opinion.

My favourite Sona splash is Silent Night. It was one of my first skins I think and to me it's by far the most Christmassy splash in the game. This Christmas season it was my wallpaper throughout the whole thing :)

3walking/riding human chase a giant dinasour bird, none of them has any armor, draven is flanking(wtf?) with no protection and tryn dressed his head more than the rest of his body.

feels like a very unorganized, not well thought, and rushed project in my view.

Don't get me wrong, his next skin is pretty freaking sweat (Mecha Zero Sion), but it honestly wasn't the skin I hopped for when it came to Sion.

I wanted a Skin that made him more human, something that made him look alive. Course I guess that doesn't fit his theme so well.

Barbarian just...it doesn't feel alive to me. The beard is nice, but I'm not a fan of the horned helmet.

it was poorly referenced, monsterhunter's style of dress looks like midieval age and the league version.looks like stone age.

No, Monster Hunter's style is that of it's Monsters. There are medieval Japan references but it's still made from the Monsters.

It's called Cooperative hunting, it's when weaker animals use numbers to hunt larger prey. As for armour, it's clearly built for mobility rather than durability because one bite means death.

I agree. The splash art quality is getting better and better, though IMO it's mostly been top-notch for the last few years.

I think my favourite splash of all time is Blood Moon Elise (also base Elise) because it perfectly captures how ... cold and creepy she is. Seeing her so relaxed and comfortable on top of the screaming people she's trapped is just amazing and it sums up her character perfectly while being gorgeous.

Favourite recent splash? Program Lissandra but given that technically doesn't exist yet, I probably have to say Ashen Lord Aurelion Sol too. That's just stunning.

EDIT: Also, I have to mention the Snow Day splash from last year. I know it wasn't necessarily the most well-drawn splash but it just captured Snowdown perfectly. Really loved it.

I think one of my favorite skins is Arcade Hecarim. I don't play him, never have. But that skin is glorious.
