Why didn't Riot keep Nexus Blitz?

I'd like to point out that nexus blitz was the most fun game mode they ever had. It was a game mode where you could solo carry or make massive comebacks. Fast paste gamemode which saves people time and you get to pick whatever you wanted to play.

Why add new game modes when you can remove them instead? It's not like the Twisted Treeline community had much to say on the matter.

they stopped because nexus blitz died as soon as it was born.

i dont care if you liked it i dont care if when you played it the queues were short

Riot has the numbers. the amount of players playing NB DIED really quick after people played it.

wanna know why? despite what you may think you know about NB. it was not only poorly made but it failed its goal.

NB was supposed to be fun and non-competitive to cool off from the other modes. and it failed that purpose

games were still competitive as hell and the "minigames" were not fun after seeing 5 times already.

not to mention the balance in the gamemode was terrible. the team with the most AoE mages won. because when the nexus started walking they not only killed it faster then you. but they could kill you while killing your nexus. and what were you gonna do? 500 minions were in your way not to mention the giant fucking crystal.

so there you go. thats why the shit gamemode Nexus Blitz died. im tired of you people going "why was it stopped" "i had fun"
i swear i feel like people feel like they remember enjoying it.

Imagine trying to justify a smoll indie company removing variety from their game SMITE will never have even half of the playerbase or revenue League has but there are a lot of gamemodes taken care of by Hi-Rez.

Yes you and group of players enjoyed the game. Riot is not basing their decisions on a specific playerbase. They are looking at it from a business view and if its worth investing.
