I have played a couple ranked games these couple games and im playing with people that does not belong in plat elo. I have been getting silver-gold while me and my entire team fights a team of plats, and yes the skill difference is huge. There is no way I can win a game alone if they all have skills better then other players that are on my team. This sucks because I usually do good and i cant help them because they wont listen. They love to constantly fight, fights that they cant win either. I have no clue why im playing with them and i play not like them, not even close to them. Im not trying to say that im hella good, and im not saying im bad either. Its just that they are just god awful when they get placed on my team, and I honestly don't know why. There has been a couple games I just was not placed with them and me and my team won.

I'd say it's a combination of all three. The plats having a low MMR for their ranking, you having a high MMR for your ranking, and you and your team not playing as well as they could of played.

With out sq people have no idea how to play on their own.

Its great you can function in a group of your friends and achieve a rank two tiers higher than that you could as a solo player. That means you're a plat group player.

You're still a silver or bronze solo player.

The biggest problem dq faces is that it also that silver or bronze player to queue up in plat as a solo player.

You need two mmrs for the system to work. One group, and one solo. Otherwise you will find games lost by a single player.

i usually play adc or mid, i used to just Top all the time.

if you check this game it makes absolutelty no sense. http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2249548864/48785856?tab=stats My team surrendered after the nid died. This made me semi-angry because we could have won that game. The team constantly fought for no reason and lost all the fights instead of setting up for an objective that we could've taken.
