J4 and mage laws
If J4 marry's lux that means the anti-mage laws will be more relaxed and possibly even removed right?

Mages are dangerous. Sylas just made things worse, so I doubt it.
J3 was looking to lighten laws on mages, J4 was sympathetic as well, due to his relations with certain people. Lux marriage to J4 would have been mainly to keep Lux safe, as a mage she would have been sought out. Lux would have told J4 and she would not be mage hunter-able because of her status.
Lux being a mage publically and in her position of power would have caused mage laws to be lightened, presumably.
But Sylas ballsed it up, as you know.
