As we all know, poor people can't afford nice things, like a decent internet connection. Should Riot just ban poor people from playing the game? Besides, poor people shouldn't be spending their time playing video games. They should be out working so they can stop being poor. Thoughts?
CryoThorn7 votesIt's actually not based entirely on income, it's the stability of the connection, as someone who's experienced both a high speed connection and a high latency connection, it's not just about speed, and if you did any research, you wouldn't need to make such a rude post. Here's some information for you: Ping is based on a combination of Speed, distance from the server, distance from router/length of ethernet cable, DNS settings, Computer settings, as well as the amount of people on the server. So before you assume it's just poor people, do your research.

Sir he literally just said it's not entirely based on income in the first sentence. Internet costs and speeds vary between areas. In some areas someone could pay $200 dollars for 500mb internet (Which is insane). I'm sure you made this post because your were salty about people with poor connections in game. What is your definition of "poor"? Anyone that can provide and support themselves isn't "poor" in my book. Just because someone doesn't make as much money as you doesn't make them "poor". Anyone's internet at anytime can cause connection issues, a storm, maybe a transformer went out and caused a power outage.
If anyone DCs at anytime, I do believe there should be an option to remake after a few minutes if they don't return.

I'd use the definition of low class in the USto define "poor". Why is it an asshole post? It'd be better for Riot and the rest of the community in general:
Fewer disconnects, non-connecting team members. Riot has to support fewer servers and lower their annual maintenance costs.
Generally, games with microtransactions make negligible amounts of money from free to play players (poor people) to begin with; Riot's actually losing money by continuing to support them.
