Riot, what's your plan on a zero tolerance policy for afkers?

Ran into a bunch of afks today, definitely ruining my experience with the game. What do you plan to do about it Riot?

They won’t do it because for one, there are valid reasons to AFK. There are also reasons that aren’t valid, per se, but are outside the player’s control.

Valid reasons are not a reason because valid reasons are rare. If they aren't rare then they aren't valid reasons. They are excuses used by people who have no personal responsibility and the worst possible toxic action in online gaming is punished very leniently.

Why?

Because RIOT knows they would ban alot of people if they took the proper stance on it and will lose a ton of money because people wish to play on WiFi and toasters and blame everything and everyone but their own damn self for their latency problems.

Because of that people abuse leaving the game (in any way) because it is punished so horribly by greedy developers.

Zero tolerance as in what? Immediate ban if you afk once? Get real dude. This is a video game. As in, leisure activity. You arent getting paid to win lol. If this game is your top priority, thats on you. They will never expect that of the masses.

Honestly it would probably be worse if they did ban them since it’s too easy to create a new account and ruin the game for newer players.

What's the difference for people who get banned for chat? Can't they do the same thing?

The most toxic thing in online gaming gets punished very leniently at this time for reasons only one can speculate about.

My guess is they would lose tons of players and money because so many irresponsible people play on WiFi and toasters and subject those that don't to their bullshit.
