Is typing "Free Hong Kong" actually against summoners code? Apparently I was in a game full of angry Chinese people.

I dont believe it is, but if u really wanna help that cause, go donate to orgs in china/ try other avenues than just repeating a hashtag in a videogame.

Its basically kony all over again...

As long as you didnt write "fuck china" next then I doubt it. Also if you triggered someone then there was discussion and plenty of opportunities to break rules by calling people "kid" or whatever...

It would certainly not be in line with the forum rules to discuss political topics, especially if there is some matter of controversy, if they aren't directly related to video games or League of Legends. Not sure how or if that rule applies to ingame chat, though. I suppose it could be seen as an attempt to bait other people into arguments and generally derailing chat (which, if that is your intention, definitely warrants punishment). But as long as you are being sincere and treat others with respect, even if they disagree with your political opinion, I would assume you'd be fine.

Well, Rito is owned by Tencent. And Tencent is in Winnie's country, so i would not be surprised...

I likely wouldn’t report that, unless it were spammed. Don’t think I’ve seen anyone’s logs with that phrase, but I don’t see how it would contribute to a punishment unless it were spammed.
