Low Spec Stories

You never really hear anything about players with poor hardware playing LOL these days now that the most basic systems can pretty much run it at 60 FPS no problem, yet it seemed super common in the past so I was wondering if there were any stories of low spec experiences from back in the day. I started League in early 2013 with an incredibly weak computer that was partially damaged:

• 15 FPS max, 7 FPS in heated moments
• Laptop mousepad, no mouse
• Left click on mousepad broken so I had to tap (BONUS: I didn't know about quick casting at the time)
• Was prone to overheating if left playing LOL for more than an hour

The life of a cheap 15 year old I suppose. I remember overheating during a bot game once and coming back 20 minutes later with the entire team discussing whether or not I should be reported. Another time as Swain I overheated during the initial loading, got back in at 25 minutes to see the game shockingly even, somehow managed to pull myself back up with help from a fed Renekton and an incredibly sympathetic Vi jungle who babysat me, and ended up winning the game. It wasn't until 2014 that I finally started rocking a decent frame rate and a mouse, but rest assured due to my mousepad formative years I still use a locked camera to this day.
