Neither. It doesn't matter.

Your actions have nothing to do with other people's actions. Unless DZK literally held a gun to your head, blackmailed, or otherwise FORCED you to write that, what he has said and done has ABSOLUTELY no impact on your punishment. No Rioter forced you to break any rules. No player did, either.

"X person did worse than me" is irrelevant. If an officer shoots an unarmed guy, that doesn't give me or anyone else the right to rob Walmart. You broke the rules, so you got punished.

Your chat logs are undeniably toxic, and your punishment is indeed deserved, but it's still better than anything that has come out of Daniel Klein's mouth.
