Removing the true damage from conq and increasing the healing actually overall nerfed the healing.

before conq used to take 8% of all ur damage and turn it into true damage and u would heal for that, so if your playing aatrox and you hit a 3rd q on 2 people and do like 1k damage with it stacked, you would, deal 80 true damage and heal 80 health.

now its just flat healing for 15% of damage dealt, no true damage. So when you do the same thing but this time there is no true damage and assuming everyone has 100 armor cus that's around the average amount of armor on each champion, which is 50% damage reduction which cuts it in half, so your healing for 15% of 500 which is 75 health.

So not only are you now healing for less, you are also doing less damage because now your not doing true damage, so they literally just nerfed conq and placebo effected everyone to believe it became overpowered after the changes so they have a reason to nerf it.

That's not true though. Total AD/AP gained went from 6-18/10-30 to 12-30/20-50. Healing went from 8% to 15%.

Until an enemy champion has ~88 armor/magic resistance new Conqueror heals more. Realistically, champions aren't reaching the magic resistance threshold until after a MR item (and probably only barely), and champions are only reaching the armor threshold lategame or after an armor item. So for magic damage champions it's just a pure, massive buff. For AD champions it's a buff except vs tanks (the only class actually building resistances for the change to matter) or very lategame games (where it might be a few percentage points worse or better, depending on the opponents).

It wasn't 'nerfed'. Bruisers don't give a shit about converting 10% of their damage to true damage when most everything they face builds at most Ninja Tabi for defense until the 3rd or 4th item. They do give a shit about gaining an extra 6-12 AD for free, and healing an extra 20%-60% during lane phase and when fighting any form of squishy. Mages meanwhile just love it in general because 20-50 free AP and 8% (was 15%) healing for damage dealt.
