New player experience: a small strange story

So, i'd like to turn you to the "new player experience". Being a player who started since about the release of our manly-man burly mustache bro Braum, I haven't really though about my old experiences besides remembering I used to think you needed to build a bunch of different items to think you'd "round out a champion" (Tryndamere + item 3075 ultimate combo). Outside of that.... I've just introduced about 3 new players to the game, giving them a strong opportunity to try out the game, and find our own little slice of hell or paradise. Really, i'm trying to be the protective parent and watched a new player begin to learn Caitlyn, and another try to learn ahri… and I awkwardly found that excitement in league I haven't found in a long time. Yes, we were against bots, and yes, i'm playing Rakan cait bot, but it was so fascinating to listen to their shock and determination to win matches, even when most players say "They're just bots LOL why you die so much". I don't like trying in bots, I like making sure when i'm with other players, i'm not entirely just dominating combat because "look at meeeeee im so fancyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy #BigSkills #BigBrain".

So, let me get back to the story. Basically, during this Rakan and Caitlyn match, I got to watch my friend experience their own changes and how their champion worked, what a botlane was like and how to interact and play against our opponents, even if we were getting mildly "trashed on" by a Jinx nami bots botlane. But in that, I loved every moment where I got to actively try to keep my Caitlyn alive, combo together my abilities, and focus on just getting by. It felt like a real matchup rather than the average league drone of "blah blah blah true damage burst 1 billion AD burst this isn't even my final form BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" sounds of Kai'sa and Lucian and the rushes and booms of super fancy ADCs with players with 20 billion mastery points. It was just... refreshing, seeing her smile and laugh, seeing my other friend laugh like a madman when we goofed or landed his ahri combo.

Maybe im a little generic, and I certainly see the faults in the game right now, but its nice to know newer players can still experience that joy and not witness another smurf pick an irelia in bots and go like 27/1/3
