Haven't built Lord Dominiks Regards in year and a half

Ye... i used to build but then I realized the potential of ... so now its my go to almost every game... surprisingly had a game where I could build the other day... was fun.

Make's it fun against tanks with Conq and built in healing, and by fun i mean you don't shred enough armor, and you don't stop enough healing either

I have, and will always call anti healing items a noob trap because they're not effective enough due to not wanting to nullify a champion entirely just by building it.

....you guys actually get games where armor pen is built in the first place? AND GRIEVOUS WOUNDS?!?!

Lucky bastards. I seem to be the only one in my games that bothers even entertaining the notion. Full tank Mundo running around totally unstoppable because the enemy team knows to focus me down? ADC would rather build Statik Shiv to add onto their no-damage crit build that tickles him but still continue to bitch about she can't hurt him even after being told she needs different items.

I know it's not great without pen to accompany it but I'd feel less aggravated if they at LEAST built Blade of the Ruined King because then I'd have some range of hope that they had the capacity to think for themselves.

If the enemy mundo heals 1000, but you have grievous wounds, you’ve effectively done 400 true damage to him by just so much as breathing on him. Of course it’s an outstanding item. Remember, if he had 200 armor (and you had no pen), you would need to do 1200 damage to get through that 400 health. If he built ninja tabi and randuin’s, suddenly that 400 health is more like 2000+

And of course the healing numbers in the game are far higher than 1000. Adc’s heal for a ton on hit, everyone with comqueror ravenous hunter heals an absurd amount, lots of champs like aatrox, mundo, and vlad have ridiculous innate healing. Grievous wounds could mean effectively an absurd amount of effective true damage dealt.

Sad but true. I did actually build it twice the other day into two games that had ornn/sions as I was udyr and was going to be fighting them up close and they don't have heal, but those champs are rare so building lord dom is rare. The irony of course is that assassins build it more commonly than anyone now.
