Welp..just going to say it: I've lost interest in League

Don't know how long it will be. A few months, a few years, but...I have lost the desire to play this game.

I got into this game enjoying 2 kinds of playing: Mages and healers.

I enjoyed this game so much I use to write stories in the sale pages.

Today versions of these 2...not great. From games I have seen and played, unless you are an assassin or an unkillable tank you are just a liability for your team. And now that we have assassin supports and I don't like playing as or against assassin...any passion or joy I had when loading a game is instead just dread and that not something I need.

Heck before when these 2 weren't good I still had fun in the jungle. Getting smite bonuses from camps that the wolf spirit or the Gromp poison armor was so fun to use. Plants on the other hand....not so much. (and form what I heard about skuttle changes.....) I can't even fall back onto that.

So I'll be leaving this game for a while and check every now and then to see if what made me play and enjoyed this game will make a comeback.

I am part way back from a ~6 month break myself. Honestly not sure if I'll even stick around long enough to make it worth learning what's happened with reworks and new champions. But I'm poking my head back in the boards and playing games every now and then for now.

With that in mind, some advice:

League changes fast. When you're in the thick of it it's easy to keep up, but once you get outside the current it's hard to want to jump back in. On the one hand, it wasn't too many games ago I was complaining about Rabadon's build path, and now it's fixed! On the other hand, pretty much everything I took for granted is different. No more sightstone/active support items? Scuttle is worth as much attention as Dragon?

If enough time goes by you'll feel like you've forgotten everything. Maybe that's good, maybe it's your (or my) time to move on from League. But if you're hesitating at that prospect, if you don't want to feel like you're starting over, then my advice is come back in 2 months or less. That's still a good break, but not too long.

Enchanters are like the biggest counter for assassins tho and mages are plenty viable, especially aurelion sol currently being an S tier pick [sg-lux-2]

Well Riot still refuses to institute a rotating game mode so i'm guessing a lot of people are going to be burned out, if they aren't already.
