I Think We Need More People Like Bazerka

Even if you are mad at him for being a rioter, he did manage to create a space where everyone can talk if they want to while still being calm. I think out of the twenty pages of comments I saw one tiny sub thread of name calling and the rest was, albeit tense, discussion. Sure arguments were made and people may have been heated but most everyone was ok to talk, and not shout.

I am proud of the community for being able to do that and I am impressed with Bazerka for managing to keep his cool from the various pokes and jabs at him.

Good job everyone! Still proud to be a part of this community.

So before I came to Riot Games. It was a 3 year endeavor with tons of interviews along with tons of heartbreak after each failure. During the beginning when I first tried. My nerves WERE SHOT. Bazerka had heard about it during that time and offered to talk to me before the interview as a way to help me unwind my nerves and hype me up. Suffice it to say I failed haha. But 3 years later and a lot of growth during it. I finally became skilled enough.

The thing is Bazerka didn't have to do that. He wasn't paid to try and help me. He wasn't my recruiter in any way. He just saw someone who was scared and generally just freaking out at the time and he extended his hand. While I understand with these Red Names we are seen as Rioters who are trying to do PR. The truth is, speaking publically is not in our job descriptions. This is something we personally choose to do because we were either inspired by someone else or it was something we saw as admirable and incredible.

I am where I am because of the Rioters who took the time out of their day to talk to me when I spoke out in the forums or other media and from firsthand experience I know they did it because they wanted it to. Not because a paycheck commanded them to.

I only hope I can do the same as the others have. So a shout out to a Bazerka who's been an awesome person!

No we don't. Bezerka is a corporate worker who was asked/paid to do some damage control after a major publicity flop.

Like literally, there is nothing more to it and if you thing otherwise you are gullible as hell.

Not that I have something against Bezerka, because I would probably do the same thing for my employer, but saying that we "need more people" who do what they are asked to for some money is absurd, we have almost literally 7.6 billion of them.

As a major contributor and participant of that thread, I would like to agree with you! [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Bazerka. I doubt you'll have the spare time to even find this, but good shit. Even when you did the "off-topic" thread about (I forgot. Was it something to do with proposed skins?). That was a much-needed pressure valve for the community. Because even though Klein was unforgivable in what he did, if we saw nothing but him all day we would just start becoming as toxic and insular as we saw him to be.

You did good, and continue to be good. Especially when it comes to Red Posts. You could have been trolling Dedmercy, reading a book, playing Monster Hunter, or making supper for all we know. But you did all this for a community that couldn't help but see you as a coward at the time.

You are a shining example of why the people who struggle with suicide are often those who most deserve to live.

Bless you, Bazerka. Bless your house, any family you might have or raise, and may you be given what you've earned. You are now my favorite rioter.

My only real problem with the whole PAX fiasco was Mr. Klein's hard SJW stance on the whole thing. and his malicious attacks against the community. Yes the Women only room was a dumb decision, but I'm sure the company as a whole has learned from it.

I posted a discussion 2 days before PAX warning about Neo Liberal principals = massive financial losses, and this communities reaction pretty much confirmed this as fact once again.

I just hope this isn't forgotten Riot! Video Games are for EVERYONE! And if a small percentage doesn't like your product? That's their problem. You haven't been the biggest game in the world for years for nothing! If it ain't broke? (balance aside. :P ) don't fix it!

While I do like Bazerka, he doesn't actually work on content in the game, so naturally people are less inclined to be upset at him than at the person who "actually" messed up (quotes because everything in this game is collaborative, of course).
