Irelia support is now better then thresh support, at least Riot fixed the Thresh issue. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

As already stated: the rest of her kit isn't Thresh.
Anyways they're quite different, aside from the slow (which is weaker for Irelia in order to make up for what more it offers)
Also Irelia ult can fail if it doesn't hit a champion. Thresh ult too can fail, but not in the same way, and he's guaranteed to cast the full ability unlike Irelia
This is like people complaining that Cami ult was a better J4 ult or a better Xin Zhao ult.
Even Veigars cage is better than a Thresh Ultimate.
His kit has always been perfectly skimming the line of jack-of-all, master of none. He can be the engage, the peel, the disengage, the vision, the get-out-of-jail card, the interruption, the support item wielder, the lane bully, the gank setup, the gank peel, etc. but never will he be the best at any of them.
No point to look into anything but some number tweaks for him, Irelia doesn't have nearly that kind of versatility in usage to the extent Thresh does, but does her own jobs better.
