Limited tokens & pass take away the fun

I'm sure I can't be the only one. I'm not extremely bothered as I simply don't have to spend my money, but If this becomes a regualr thing im somewhat indifferent. I used to actually enjoy the missions, because I knew (even if it was small) a nice reward would come with it (capsules or keys). Now everything is about tokens and having the pass. The tokens are practically useless without the pass because they give you scraps and only that. You won't find yourself getting anything better than an icon, or forging keys. If you're lucky you might hardly reach getting a ward. If this is how riot plans to do events from now on, I have 0 interest in bothering with the missions (and i guess the event overall). It's not fun and takes away the excitement of an event. I definitely won't waste money on a pass for lame golden chromas and borders. To each their own.

It's too expensive for something that is akin to gambling. skin shards don't give enough orange essence either.

I kind of wish tokens were just a free part of the game, i'm still going to compulsively buy skins for champs that i play, the tokens add a nice incentive to play everyday knowing i can get +15 from my daily win and another 6 from winning and 8 from S rank. You might as well make the game a subscription based game

I think the tokens without the pass get you exactly where they did before. Usually you can earn enough to get an icon and some change, a loading border, an event orb, or something like that, and I believe that's still the case. They've just added some prizes above it for those who want to buy in.

I mean I got so much value from the previous pass I was pretty pleased.

I dont know why Riot is making this for 3 days only though, the missions should last until christmas. Riot is becoming a dam money vacuum and they want to put pressure on us to buy things or play really hard.

Again, 3 days to complete the missions is a fcking joke.
