Its the end of an era. Shes been my main champ for almost 4 years. She was the one consistent thing that could bring me back to this game. Over the years riot has changed/removed many things i liked to play, but irelia was always there. I guess all things come to an end eventually.

This is how I felt about Galio. I've only played a couple games since they deleted him. Riot got rid of a loyal player and paying customer. One among millions, so of course they don't care.

I hate champion reworks too
I do truly feel for you faithful Irelia Mains. I was fortunate enough that my main, Taric, was reworked in such a way that he’s even better as a toplaner now. Even though I honestly despised fighting Irelia and didn’t find her fun to play against at all, I hope that the new kit will preserve at least the fundamentals of what you love about her most. At the risk of angering the veterans, new Irelia actually looks fun (and a bit more fair, but I know I’m biased), and it looks like they put a lot of work into paying homage to her traditional lore. I just might even turn to the dark side and play her now.

Eh never really liked her before. The new one seems fun after having played a bot match as her. That being said I'm gonna wait for them to balance her before I add her to my top lane champion pool.

I worry for when they rework Jayce, hes the only champ I have fun playing with and the only reason i come back to this game just like you with Irelia. Hopefully when the day comes when they rework him, ill like him even more.
