At one point the game was bearable, and that means it was balanced. The day will come when the game will be gone in the future. That will be the day all the players souls will finally be free.

You’re right. Riot’s goal isnt to make the game balanced as possible, it’s to swing the meta every now and then to keep it from getting boring.

So then here's the real question; What's the balance team actually do? Do you think they literally go outside and try to balance on curbs and parking spots? Because if they call what we have balance, then they may need to get out of the industry.

This is a trick question, because Rito doesn't have a "Balance Team." They renamed themselves "Gameplay Design" and publicly stated they don't make changes based on the idea of "balancing" the game.

The only team that makes changes to champs is the "game design" team.. They removed the "game balance" team ages ago.. Rito legit admitted they don't balance their game.. They don't care too.. They are just making each new season "new and interesting" and F balance... I wish I was joking, but I'm not.

You don't remember cuz it never was. Not even in the nostalgia filtered seasons 3 and 4. And the only way to actually achieve perfect balance is for everyone to be playing the same champ on perfectly symmetrical maps.

There doesn't need to be literally perfect balance, just enough balance that mechanics, decision making, map awareness, team comp, etc. outweigh whatever advantages anyone has due to the imperfect balance.

I'm not about to say the game was bad in season 3~4. Everyone was cool, everything had its place, no jg diff. I personally miss pre-rework Xerath, Skarner, Taric, Veigar and back when Ziggs was relevant before all the mobility creep.

No, but I remember when Riot didn't force metas, meaning a wider variety of champs and playstyles were viable instead of just the most recently released champs with 27 abilities crammed into their kits

I mean honestly league is balanced everything is playable no? You can play adcs in 3 lanes mages in 3 lanes all junglers are viable all supports besides alistar are viable. League is prolly the most balanced it has been
