I just played a Dominion match with my room mate... AND 8 FUCKING BOTS. In PvP. But there's no option to report cheaters/botters because Riot is delusional and think they're infallible (which anyone who's requested help from "Support" already knows). They're all named with randomly selected words (I took a screenshot but it didn't work because fuck Riot) and you can tell just by watching them play anyway.

Not only does it stay there being useless and thus doesn't allow a much better map/mode to replace it (URF anyone?) but it is a dirty easy way to earn really fast IP since with a snowballing champ, against bots, you can end the game in 13 minutes and get like 50-60 IP for it.

I'd very much prefer it if Dominion was removed overall so that a new, much more popular map would take its place.
Other 5v5 pvp maps are heavily monitored from what I've seen, I've never encountered a bot in SR so I doubt bots will ever populate that. I always encounter them in Dominion though, and its not even two or one, its nine bots and me.

MrEly2 votesThis is an MMR issue that you are facing. Play more dominions, win against the bots, take the free ip, and you will eventually be placed against humans. This is what all my friends and I have had to do. The bots have really shit MMR so getting to the point where you never see them doesn't take too long to reach. I rarely see bots in my dominion games these days. But I did have to play a lot of games against them to reach this point.

But frankly, there is not much that can be done about the bots due to how they fool riot's systems. So yea, take the free IP for a while and then you will be placed against more humans.

RIOT basically ignores all the tickets you send, and I know this because I've sent support tickets three or four times with enough evidence for rather serious infractions, and all I've get is an automatic answer saying something like "we'll look into it but we can't tell you nothing because it's against our privacy policy" and then they've never done anything.
At this time when I a serious infraction I just ignore it. I won't lose my team sending a meaningless ticket that RIOT will blatantly ignore.

Sp00ky Senpai2 votesBotters are just programs that play champions (ie. bots) with minimal AI to keep them from going afk every game and farm XP and IP in dominion to get level 30 accounts with lots of ip to sell to players as smurfs.
the problem is they only have enough programing to move around in base usually and dont help you at all. Even worse is that some have enough ai to run down lanes to try and cap points, but dont run away or defend themselves when they come under attack.
They single handedly make Dominion unplayable because you can get into games where you are the ONLY player with 9 other brain dead Bots.

It's an account where the game is literally played by a bot, similar to the ones in coop vs ai, except in this case, on dominion they always take ghost and heal, and then run at the bot lane, and usually by the end of the game have around 12 or more deaths.

Riot has done more than any other MOBA by offering a second map for 3v3, as well as even coming up with Dominion, I understand the frustrations of Dominion players, but in the end it's like complaining about some cheesy DLC for a Steam game not being as humorous as you hoped.

Contrary to your thoughts...The separate game modes with friends are far funner than any 'serious' game mode. Dominion use to be my favourite before bots flooded it and people didn't. ARAM with friends is aiiight.
As for other games...DotA does throw some other game modes out there, if not by Valve, then by the community (ala, Pudge Wars for instance). HoN has midwars and CTF. Both fun as hell for the most part, but better with friends because..well..randoms are meh normally.
