Real Challenger players just start grinding in autumn anyways so having very long seasons is pointless. I was 7-8 months there in a row, now dropped in last week just because the real players were practically just AFKing till now. I still have small chances, but Riot's ranked is not a working system and it will never be if nothing else matters than final day's rank.

Too much time is given for silvers to get Gold where they can stay an eternity without playing, meanwhile in Master+ there is this merciless inactivity system that supports the fact there is no sense playing at all before it's the correct time.

Please reward top 10 Flex players with Haribo Matador Mix candyboxes, I don't deserve any better.

Pretty sure nearly every consistent Master tier+ player celebrated the new decay system. It forces people to play on their accounts if they want to remain there, and thus makes matchmaking and queue times better.

Regardless, the "race to the end" has always been around, current decay system or not.

Yeah real challenger players maintain their skill by only playing one month out of the year because logic
