I love the idea of playing this game but the practice, that's a whole different story. Yeah the balance isn't great and the toxicity can be nauseating, but the single worst thing about this game is the matchmaking, for me it singlehandedly ruins the game. I don't play this game much because I honestly feel that 9 out of 10 games is just a fucking stomp against my team regardless of how i do.

I'm writing this because I had a strong urge to play league so I did, went mid Swain and solo killed my lane, everyone else lost. Game was basically tied and our jg afk'd, bot fed hard. Throughout this whole game all I can think about is, "Why is it that Riot thinks I can control this game? I did good, I helped top and couldn't do much bot, but because their Jinx is dumb fed and the rest of their team isn't inting, they're fine. Why can this LB do shit early and have a team that lets her get back in it? Why does it feel like every game is a waste of time because my team ints and no matter how much I try it simply does not matter?"

I want the 50/50 of matchmaking to feel like that not 10/90. I would play this game so much more if half the games I played felt even. I just don't understand how it can be so skewed, or at least feel so skewed against me, I mean half the time I go and check op.gg after the game to see, and sure enough they have 1 - 2 range average of us EVERY TIME. I'm not gonna sit here and say I do good every game, but I rarely get into games that I'm the one on the good team and I'm inting, or at least not nearly enough that it's happening on the other team.

Basically what I'm trying to get at is that Riot seems to think that if I play well eventually I'll climb I have to right, I'm doing good, but I don't see it. It just doesn't happen. All I want is to get into a Elo that I feel is more suited for me where I can have teammates that don't seem like bots. It's just so sad, cause I love this game through its faults, but it being a team game and the system that creates the teams is so fucking horrible it ruins the experience.

90% of games this season in my experience are stomps either for your team or the enemy team, not fun either way and just terrible to be on the getting stomped side of (especially if you went even or even won lane).

And then 10% will be closer back and forth games, and dont get me wrong even in these games there are skewed skill levels for example one teams adc will be just awful and probably belong in a way lower elo, but the other teams toplaner is the same so both these lanes get stomped the opposite way and balance out.

But yeah i agree matchmaking is about as bad as its ever been this season in terms of just lots of uneven games, funny enough matchmaking in season 7 and 6 were the best it was in my experience.
