If you don't like someone else's pick you are free to dodge.
Also, don't blame Riot for people in the community. They're doing a lot to try to get rid of trolls like that. But it's an online game, so those things will literally always exist and there's nothing anyone can do about them. Accept it, report them (or dodge), and move on.
Not being demeaning in any sense, but we're in the same elo of Silver 1 where a lot of picks works perfectly depending on the skill level on that champ. A good Draven can do just fine in mid lane. In fact, it could almost work better with a good jungler. Setting him up for a few early Draven kills could snowball him immensely if he plays safe and has vision around. Plus his W and E are good counter ganks should the enemy jungler come at him.
I kind of want to try it now, I wouldnt just wing it in ranked, though.

To all of the people say dodge, you shouldn't have to fall for a queue penalty timer just because people want to screw up the match. Some people may only have time for one game a week, imagine how that would feel for someone to troll around. Though I don't mind people taking adc mid and such, a support champ is a must and people need to leave it at that.
