Please stop playing Ascenion if you wont touch the shrines

Ok and? I assume she was supporting you guys, right? Shielding, healing & peeling for you all while you all got the points. I also assume she was stopping the enemy from catching points too. I assume she wasn't sitting in a bush picking her noses or something. Sorry if I'm making a lot of assumptions. But you didn't give me much info to work with beside a one sentence QQ post that barely deserves to be it's own thread.

The thing is though, that's exactly what ppl play ascension for. They don't play it for the win, they play it for the fun.

Think about it. League system actually encourages losing instead of winning, because when you win you'll be facing tougher opponents, and when you lose you'll be beating on weaker opponents. Yes, some of us seek challenges, some of us want even matchups, but look at the reality - this game is overflooded with smurfs. Look at me in the eye and tell me this community does not like picking on the weaker preys.

Now, you have ascension here, where if you focus on fighting and ignore objectives, you'll lose - but that's exactly what we want ! We want to fight, stomp to have fun, but we want to lose in the end so we can stomp even harder next game. This mode is perfect for meeting our needs in our current system, and that's why we chase for kills, ambush in bushes, or run around the map annoying opponents with janna, etc.

Not saying I agree with it, just saying that's how things work here.

To be fair, going around and preventing captures by bogging down the enemy and junk like that is a valid strategy. Sort of like how edgy Overwatch players stay away from the objective all game but run interference.

Conversely, don't play Ascension if you're going to play PvE Heimerdinger because it's easier to win than ranked.

I play Ascension to get away from the tryhard, not walk into it

Janna is easily one of the most annoying champions to play against on this game mode (other than Teemo). Just lost a game, that we otherwise would have won, simply because Janna could just stop every melee on our team from doing anything. I'm glad she's not played often. Sona is pretty annoying too, but not to the same degree as Janna.
