In most given competitive environments, teams are not simply allowed to cancel a game as a result of fewer players; instead, the team with an insufficient number of players loses by default because it is the responsibility of every player on a team to be ready, able, and available. And, like it or not, teams are responsible and held accountable for the actions and decisions of each of its members.

Say, for instance, a football quarterback decides to be a total ass to the opposing team. Their negative actions will usually result in penalties issued to their entire team. Same principle applies to LoL.

The enemy team obtains a clear early advantage fair and square, it would be completely unfair to those 5 players to have that early advantage and higher chance of winning to be taken away because some dude goes "wait they have an early advantage, if I leave then no one gains/loses lp"

simple fix the leaver gets the loss the other team gets the win the 4 other players left win nothing and lose nothing. Anyone who ques with the leaver also gets the loss.
