Opinion on Aatrox as a champion

He sucks. Number tunning would just force him into being an all-in spam champion, which isn't interesting, fun, or balancable. Lacks almost every core aspect every bruiser and then has his own huge issues:

• Splitpush effect

• Ability to kill tanks

• Cripples by anti-healing effects

• People walk out of his passive and then all-in him

• Cannot stick to targets.

• Itemization sucks (BoRK isn't very good and leaves him too squishy, BoRK doesn't double stack Cleaver)

Now obviously, don't fix them all because Aatrox has a lot of damage put into kit (assuming those numbers weren't shit) and he'd likely be overloaded and overpowered. Very simple fixes:

• W gets armor pen on empowered hit (hurt tanks)

• E slow 1 second longer (can't be kited to death, can retain passive decently)

• Immune to heal reduction during ultimate (you can still trade with heal reduction, but his mid-late game and all-ins/duels shouldn't be crippled).

• Maybe make his W work on turrets, potentially with halved effectiveness.

Bad, and that's good.

He's one of the blandest champions in the game.

I dislike everything about him. His kit, his looks, his lore, everything. It would have filled me with joy if Darkin as a concept had gotten the axe, but now we're stuck with two more of them (annihilating an actually interesting champion in the process) with two more apparently in the works at some point. Because the game needs more otherworldly factions to spread the already razor-thin story even thinner, I guess.

He's extremely fun when he works. His lore and appearance are on point IMO.

However, he has too many weaknesses to be considered "good" and unfortunately those weaknesses far outweigh his strengths.

What does he offer?

Early game: High sustain, great crowd control. All game: Free guardian angel passive. When fed: Burst damage.

What are his glaring weaknesses?

Has to use his body to CC the enemy. Low HP at all points in the game. High cooldown timers even with cooldown reduction. Attack speed debuffs wreck him so bad (frozen heart, randuins omen, Malphite) that as soon as anyone reduces your attack speed you immediately become useless. Aatrox can only all-in. He does not, cannot retreat from battle. His engage is short ranged. His kit does not function properly without a filled blood well. His blood well drains extremely fast.

Don't care for him 1 bit.

he is crazy overpowered, i love him x) just take the mastery lethal tempo and go hp/ad fighter
