How is this Okay?

The support is Teemo.

I'll give you a quick summary of the game.

  • Champ select: Picks support teemo in a team already lacking CC, claims to be a Teemo main.
  • Laning phase is going alright, we are all even with our lanes, except bot. Something is wrong bot.
  • Teemo is taking Sivir's CS.
  • A gank goes wrong bot, enemy triple kill.
  • Teemo: "f**k you boosted lee"
  • Proceeds to feed enemy bot lane, making occasional feed roams to bot and mid.
  • We have to 4v5 in teamfights, as he is invisible in some far off bush, not caring.
  • Game goes on, he doesn't want to ff, we all get destroyed in teamfights.
  • Team goes to /all chat, wants enemy team to report Teemo.
  • Teemo blames the entire game on the failed Lee gank, says Teemo is a viable support, and that it's our fault for not picking CC.
  • Game ends Teemo gets (hopefully) 9x.

Note the Teemo has NO sightstone, claiming that vision doesn't matter.

How is this possible? This is high plat... I don't understand why players like these are able to get up to this level. I mean, it's not that hard but...

This Teemo personally ruined the game for our team, he didn't care, and he blamed the game not on himself, but other people.

What the heck do I do in games like these? 50 minutes of absolute hell and wasted time in ranked.

Something needs to be done about players like this, whether it be a huge Riot review team, or anything...

What solutions can you guys think of?

Report and play another ranked game

It's not a ban-able offense to have a bad game; Nor is it a requirement to even 100% do your role properly. Sadly, nothing can or will be done about this.

You basically had someone who thought something would work; It didn't pan out (As he would have to snowball early). Then he proceeded to tilt and do poorly without caring about anyone but himself. As long as he played the game - even poorly at that... it happens.

You'll get a generic response that he will fall to a position he deserves if his skill isn't up to requirement eventually - or the classic prisoner island response; that a player in a bad situation will proceed to do bad himself.

His R is technically sight; so he didn't need a sightstone 100%.

You have to realize; yes - he lost you your game... but punishing a player for not being useful is the worst response to go about it. Your throwing 10 random people in a room expecting them to work in perfect unity; eventually something will go wrong... and you just have to move on and pick yourself up in future games.

Secondly... The Teemos not even the worst person in the game (Lee is 0-10). Having someone who struggles to do a roll well; while your jungle manages to give a three kill lead early game (While doing nothing rest of the game) yah I can see why he fell behind and gave up.

Leesin tried to win. He grouped and fought in teamfights. (Notice his assists.)

Teemo sat back and tried to bump up his personal score by cleaning up any kills he could find, after we all died.

reminds me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXqRzkb5r3A

Also, there will always be people like this. you just have to accept it and try to carry yourself.

Halfway through reading I expected this to be low elo. It is definitely offputting to see that happening in platinum division.

Thankfully fake supports like that are not common. As stated, report and move on. On a side note, least he didn't lie about being a Teemo main. 230k experience on Teemo.
