Shyvana Making A Huge Comeback

Not that she was ever bad, especially when Cinderhulk became a thing, she had her moments in between buffs and nerfs, but has always been a pretty solid / easy pick.

Lately though, shes sitting right below Yorick with the literal second highest global win rate.

When Runes Reforged had first debuted, I remember the first normal game I played was aganst a Shyvana jungle. Our team comp waa more well rounded than theirs and we had more CC, which is something Shyvana herself lacks.

She got a triple kill after we had a sustained lead and proceeded to crap on us ever after. Her burst was far more than i remember, I regret not checking the players specific rune set up because I do not recall Shyvana being so burst oriented. Needless to say, the patch has been kind to her.

Any ideas what changes bumped her up to a jungle must-pick Goddess ? Some late season 7 Udyr voodoo going on ?

She’s always been absolute terror... when she’s able to actually enter combat.

I haven't seen this uptick in shyvanna pick in any role. I would love to see her more. Alast I must got back to babysitting adc junglers....wish that would stop being a thing.

I thought it was amusing how much people have complained about Malz (who was in the top three as of yesterday. Yorick, Shyvana, Malzahar) but nobody mentioned Shyv. Unfortunately for both of us (I main supp) Ezreal is up there as well as prob the #1 Marksman. Prob in the jungle.

You would think ! I was playing Cait with a Lux support, Renekton top, Malz mid, and Elise jungle. One ult at three of them under turret deleted them leaving myself and Elise to easily get picked off by the rest of her team. Until that triple kill, we were up by 5. Never felt so helpless against a champ with all damage (this person went full damage too), no tank items, and no cc.

Dont believe this Shyv ran Cinderhulk, either. I believe she ran bloodrazor.

hrm I wonder what could of bumped her... oh yeah Preditor the most broken rune in league. Litterly makes your whole lane unsafe acording to lostShadows. cjheck the patch notes on his youtube to hear about why.

Shyvana is only back bc people haven't learn to play yet. runes reforged got everyone messed up currently I expect challenger players to drop to diamond.

It's not predator, it's press the attack. The rune path gives her attack speed for her on hit and she is able to instantly proc press the attack thanks to her auto reset, which counts as 2 auto attacks.

AA + Q is instant proc.

Youre prob right in this case. The damage was burst oriented, as in she would ult in and slaughter everything in a quick combo. Nothing really HAD to be sustained so Im thinking Press The Attack was prob the keystone they used
