Zoe change proposals

More Sparkles! No longer applies to damage dealt by Spell Thief's bubbles.

Paddle Star Zoe can no longer redirect Paddle Star while incapacitated.

Spell Thief No longer causes "Balloon minions" to spawn. Champions killed within 4 seconds of taking damage from Zoe will drop a copy of the last summoner spell or active item they used. Cool down increased from 0.25 seconds to 1.5 seconds.

Sleepy Trouble Bubble "Pop" damage changed from 100% the attack's damage to 50/57.5/65/77.5/85% of the attack's damage. "Pop" damage is now based on pre-mitigation damage instead of post-mitigation damage.

Portal Jump If Zoe is incapacitated at any point during Portal Jump, she will not return to her initial location. The active components of Zhonya's Hourglass and Stopwatch are exceptions, and will not prevent her from returning (other forms of stasis will still block the return).

Admirable attempt and A for effort, but the only thing that is going to balance the current uptime and cost of Zoe's Q, is to reduce its damage by a full 30%.

Zoe's burst damage is (and should be) her strong suit.

I'm fine with her being able to instagib-people; every champ has to be good at something.

I just want it to be easier to punish her when she goes aggressive.

Nah. Instakill is just outright shitty design, especially in a game that supports the chaotic environment of a team fight. I mean, what happened to all that high-minded talk about 'promoting counterplay', and 'shifting power around kits', and all that knob gob about 'play mechanics'? You might as well throw all that out the fucking window. I think much of what you suggested is probably workable or appropriate, but job 1 is fix the stupid damage and then bring some of those other points into line.

30%? You're insane.

She is first and foremost a burst mage. It is what she was designed to be. Now you could shift some damage from her Q to her other abilities, but 30% is still too much.

With a 30% cut to Q she would still be a burst mage with an appropriately gated combo that requires her to use more than 1 button, and her damage would be still be on the high side.

A combo that leaves her far more vulnerable than other burst mages, and her damage would not still be on the high side, not for a burst mage.

There is no basis for saying she's more vulnerable than any other burst mage.

Yes there is. If she goes in for poke, she must ult and be in a position where she can take significant retaliatory damage. She also tells them where she'll return to, making it extremely easy to land dead skillshots on her during it.

As for ccing enemies chasing her, she can be good if you assume nobody interrupts the sleep, but even then it isn't significantly better than Lux or Veigar or Syndra.

I take significant issue with your use of the word 'must' in this context, which is blatantly false. Zoe does plenty high damage in lane pre-6. She certainly wasn't using R when she one-shot Ez.

If she goes in for poke without ulting, she's even more vulnerable...

Also yes she did use her R in that video (assuming you mean the LCK one?). She can also use flash of course.

She already gets instakilled if she's jumped upon, these changes would actually destroy her, the only thing she needs is her damage lowered.
