It is more nerf then buff imo.Does Yorick need nerfs ?

1.Ghouls live damage is 10-95 and not 5-90. 2.PBE ghouls damage nerfs are really harsh.-20 damage per ghoul at 7-13 is really really bad.

Live ghoul base damage : 10 + 5 per level (10,15,20,25....95)

PBE ghoul base damage : 2,5,8,11,14,17,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,60,70,80,90,100 https://www.reddit.com/r/yorickmains/comments/6kczn7/pbe_mist_walker_growth/

So you lose alot of damage in trades and duels (esp.lvl 7-13 -20 damage per ghoul) for 5 extra AD at level 18 and lower R cd (with extra 1000 HP).

I think every Yorick main (Doesnt matter what elo and what role) would prefer current Yorick over PBE Yorick.

Apparently the Balance team is having a pretty bad day and taking it out in the most insane, random ways. Taric is getting unnecessarily nerfed in the most contrary ways as well.

Yorick has a high win rate because he is great in his role, but is hardly op. His strength pushing and laning comes with a distinct disadvantage in that without his ult (even more so minions) his teamfighting is very lackluster. If he can not do one thing at a high level there is no reason to play him.

I'd prefer current yorick. The early damage hit is too much to make up for with the buffs to late.

He's a very strong laner. A properly pulled off combo with 3 ghouls chunks laners if not kills them.

A rioter was talking about it, they are doing the change to tone down his low elo stomp fest while opening power budget for him in high elos (More reliable damage on E as Ghouls instantly get 1-2 attacks, not after they land from the jump).

That damage nerf is completely unwarranted. On an "early to midgame" focused champion that is immobile and needs a setup to do their damage that also falls off the last thing you want to do is nerf their early game. I do not know what happens in low elo, but at diamond+ Yorick is far from oppressive.

It is just a hypocritical thing for the balance team to do since they have said they balance around plat and up.

They said his early game damage is too much, I guess.

They seem to be punishing early games that don't belong to popular, high-performance picks.

I generally try to trust balance because I don't really watch or care about the higher levels. But really, Yorick early game nerfs seems a bit... inhibiting.

WoW it not a nerf. Its a change.

You forget the fact, that if you will land your E Ghouls will attack and hit immediately. Its a garanteed AA for ghouls

Live MWs just sooooo unreliable. Even if I hit my enemy with E they jump on him but cant AA, because he just runs away.
Try to kill rift scuttler with the ghouls and E only. You will know what I am talking about.

Also ghouls jumping distance is increased for 40%.

I mean, I like the buffs they gave him, but yeah, with the damage nerf to his mist walkers, I'd rather just stick with current Yorick.

Seriously all we need for Yorick is to let us control the damn ult don't need for cool down reduction the reason why people complain it's so high is because of the damn dumb as hell ult walking away from you and dieing from either turrent or by chasing a enemy forcing you to wait for 180 sec for it to come back up.

People are really underestimating just how much the Ghoul Jump range and instant attack damages are going to affect them. Not only will they be dealing with said attacks after the initial few, but with the rest of Yorick.

Soooo- you should probably post the entire listed PBE change instead of just a portion.

NEW EFFECT: Ghouls now immediately attack upon Mourning Mist's dash. Ghoul base damage changed to 2 - 100 (based on level) from 10 - 95 (based on level). Reaction radius increased to 1400 from 1000.

You seem to have not mentioned the other parts. I get that you think it's more of a nerf than a buff overall, but you don't exactly paint an unbiased picture when you don't present the entire changelist.

Personally, I'd wait to see, because the first bit might have a major impact in his potential damage.

Wait, where are you seeing the -20 damage per ghoul? And why would there be an incentive to have less ghouls? I go out of my way in jungle clears to have all 4 graves, and keeping max ghouls is just good management. Take that away and then I should just go running around with one ghoul.

I do like the instant auto though, Riot says this is a nerf but that's enough to secure a kill on an early gank.

Eh, Yorick has dirty synergy with item 2033 and Ghouls so this is pretty fair for his laning phase. In terms of having his late ghouls nerfed I don't mind it too much since they are pretty much relegated to split-pushing duty in my experience. Using that power loss to buff his R gives him stronger teamfighting while losing a little bit of his splitpushing power (they can still splitpush just fine).

Honestly the only nerf I think he needs is to have the circle of death have a bigger model. It's currently impossible to actually hit the thing because of ghouls, Yorick himself, and minions to the point that it might as well not even have a hitbox at all and be un "counterable"
