Unpopular Opinion: Future Market is a drug

Ever since it was released, I think I had it used on 95% on my games throughout all roles, mostly as secondary runes. The gold debt allows myself to be ahead of the corresponding enemy by an assist to a kill which gives tremendous advantage during laning phase. With it, a lot of times where I was short gold to complete the item, it let me complete it and other times, those 3 red potions gave me the ability to out-sustain my opponent. Without a doubt if Future Market were to be removed next season, my chances of winning a role will severely plummet. It isn't the rune anyone cares about, but the rune everyone needs.

I had to ween myself off of it.

Playing cassiopeia feels the same way because every other champion in the game has to buy boots. Dont want boots just wanna go F A S T

But the best part of future market is that you can always buy pots and a pink, no matter what. My ward score is through the roof when I take it.

I don't think many people choose inspiration? correct me if I'm wrong, but when I do choose it it's for stopwatch or boots and maybe 5% cdr

That 5% cdr is kinda useless though.

I mean not really.

But compared to Future's Market it kinda is.

I mean, you are in bronze, so it doesn't matter. You can play aftershock Zed and still stomp there.

You don't get ahead using it, you do lose out on 50 gold, so if you don't get a lead, you are put behind.

It's actually quite informative. Every situation that arises is good or bad based on the environment. As I said, you might be able to stomp bronze elo with something stupid like Aftershock Zed. That doesn't mean it's good. Same with your situation. You only happened to use that in bronze as far as I know. Proving that it's working there doesn't mean it's good.

Yeah, Singed can recall after 2 waves and complete corrupting pot or get another dark seal. It is huuuuuge. And he doesn't even have to take every cs from those 2 waves.
